“Early access will allow the game to be polished to a high standard before its official release! This includes looking at balancing issues in regards to level design, gameplay, fixing bugs, or even adding highly requested features.”

“Final release is expected to happen within or at the end of 2024.”

“The goal for release is to introduce more levels and worlds to the game, as well as introducing other characters and a global leaderboards system. We would really like to make the game as polished and bug-free as possible.”

“The game is functional and playable, currently with over 50 levels, four distinct worlds, and all core gameplay elements implemented. At the moment, we are reworking and expanding the tutorial to better introduce players to the mechanics! Sound effects and music are not yet fully implemented.

We have a playable demo available on Steam which includes the entire first world!”

Become a catboy and zoom through the many handcrafted worlds in this FPS Platforming Speedrunner! Learn to master your movement kit and leave your best times for others to challenge!




Designed from the beginning to be approachable for players new to the genre, while still retaining the nuance and high skill ceiling that veterans can appreciate. Levels are designed to teach you everything you need to know, and will gradually push your skill level and nudge you to do things just a bit faster. By the end of the game, you'll be zooming through worlds like nothing.


Features movement tech such as air-strafing, bunnyhopping and surfing, popularized by Source-Engine titles such as Counter Strike, Half-Life, and Team Fortress 2! However, the game builds off of this movement drastically with its own mechanics such as sliding, surf jumps, wallkicks and more!




Featuring five unique worlds and over 75 carefully thought-out levels. Each levels teaches something new, brings a new idea to the table, presents a new challenge - no filler!


Fight for the best times against your friends and globally! Show off your times on the leaderboards, watch how others beat your times through the replay system, and race against other players' ghost times.




catboyZOOM is a passion project developed primarily by myself, Ethan, with additional programming from my partner, Brae.

We're both avid enthusiasts of FPS platformers, particularly Source-movement, and have both been involved in movement gamemode communities for over a decade. Most of our time has been spent in the Team Fortress 2 jump community, where together we've published over 25 custom maps (and spent over 25k hours of our lives), and are core contributors to the Source movement community project Momentum Mod.

We both care deeply about making movement platforming that is extremely fun, satisfying, and rewarding - something that gives you the joy of just going really fast and executing a route well, but that also makes you wanna grind a single level for hours upon hours until you get that perfect run.
