What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The original vision of the Game is centered on a historically inspired storyline. However, while the majority of the core gameplay systems are already developed and functional, additional time is required to properly build and implement the main historical campaign.

To responsibly test and refine these systems without prematurely revealing or compromising the intended historical storyline, the Game is being released in Early Access with a separate Aswang timeline. This alternate storyline serves as a structured testing ground for core mechanics, gameplay balance, and overall design direction.

The purpose of this Early Access phase is to refine existing systems and gather feedback while the primary historical content remains in development.

You acknowledge and agree that you are purchasing the Game based on its current state and available content at the time of purchase. Future updates, additional storylines, features, or timelines are planned but are not guaranteed and should not be relied upon as a condition of purchase.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“4 months. Things may change, but know that we are constantly working on the game non-stop and we aim to release it sooner.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version focuses on the Aswang timeline, which serves as a playable testing ground for the game’s core systems, mechanics, and overall structure.

In the full version, we plan to expand the scope of the game by opening the currently locked Historical timeline. This timeline is intended to feature history-inspired levels based on real-world events, presented through a fictionalized lens. While these levels draw inspiration from history, they will remain interpretative and narrative-driven, as history itself can be complex and open to perspective.

We plan to further refine and expand existing systems, improve overall polish and balance, and broaden the game’s content and world depth as development progresses.

Players should consider purchasing Early Access based on the content and features currently available. Future additions, expansions, and changes are planned but not guaranteed and may evolve over time as development continues.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is fully playable within the Aswang timeline and currently includes 9 playable scenes that showcase the core gameplay systems and mechanics.

It also features a Tao-Ibon mini-game and a visual showcase of outfits inspired by historical groups such as the Kawit Brigade and the Tiradores de la Muerte. These elements are designed to demonstrate the game’s systems, atmosphere, and artistic direction while broader content remains in development.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to actively involve the community in the development process by listening to feedback and suggestions. Players are encouraged, though not required, to fill out an optional survey form to share their thoughts on the game.

Additionally, we monitor and engage with our community on social media, especially on TikTok, where the game’s journey began. Player feedback from these channels helps guide improvements, balance adjustments, and overall development decisions.”
