🎾 About

Play as a college freshman at Tensington Academy, balancing school life, dating, and tennis. Uncover the mysteries of the school and save the Goddess of Tennis with the help of a ball fairy named Servie, while you battle in supernatural tennis battles and search for your romantic Doubles Partner.

• TENNIS BATTLES - Play tennis matches inspired by classic tennis games, with RPG elements to spice things up
  
• BOSSES - Challenge bosses that each get their time in the story's limelight and whose fights stretch the bounds of tennis gameplay
  
• ROMANCE - Several Doubles Partners to get to know each with their own story. Be as gay and polyamorous as you want, and stay overnight in their dorm room for intimate scenes. Getting closer with them improves your abilities together in doubles matches.
  
• EXCITING STORY - Linear fantasy story with Visual Novel CG scenes. Uncover the mysteries of the Academy and help a ball fairy save the Goddess of Tennis!
  
• DIVERSE CAST - Characters from a wide array of races, sexualities, gender identities, and disabilities. The protagonist is a white masculine-presenting dude, but you can choose their name and pronouns.
  
• SCHOOL LIFE SIM - A calendar system while you attend classes over 4 seasons. Hang out at bars, the gym, library, and more. Over time, more things will open up.
  
• CUSTOMIZABLE SKILLS - A skill tree lets you learn new special moves and passive abilities for in and out of matches. You may also learn skills from your doubles partner!
  
• STAT CUSTOMIZATION - Gain EXP, level up, and choose from a variety of stats to upgrade. Your character can be a powerhouse, fleet-footed, or have curvy shots with lots of spin. It's up to you!
  
• EXPLORE & COLLECT - Search areas to find items and money hidden in nooks and crannies. Tennis balls throughout the world will have some... interesting facts to give you, or even advice for your opponents!

Romanceable Characters

Get to know the unusual students at the Academy, and go on dates during your free time. Improving your relationship with someone also improves your abilities during battle, so it's always a good idea to make friends!

Improving your relationship with one of your classmates may lead to them inviting you to the Moonlit Court and propose to be your Doubles Partner!

Planned Accessibility Features

This is an idea from Laura Kate Dale to create a new industry standard. By listing planned accessibility features, groups of people don't have to wait until the game is released to know if they'll be able to play it. • FULLY BLIND ACCESSIBLE - This is something I worked on with Britt Dye at Whitethorn - we had an ambitious goal to create a new industry standard of making RPGs blind-accessible. (If a small indie can do it, so can AAA!) I plan on continuing this work with Tennis Academy, and will do my best to create an action RPG that blind players can enjoy.
