🎾 About

Long ago, humanity was in turmoil. There were constant wars, resulting in sadness, famine, and death. Before all hope was lost, The Goddess descended to Earth and gifted mankind with the solution to all of their problems: Tennis.

You play as NATE, a college freshman attending Tensington Academy. He meets a ball fairy, Servie, who gifts him with the power to talk to tennis balls and perform extraordinary TENERGY skills. Over his stay at the Academy, he'll have to juggle his studies, dates with classmates, but most importantly... save Tennis!

Romanceable Characters

Get to know the unusual students at the Academy, and go on dates during your free time. Improving your relationship with someone also improves your abilities during battle, so it's always a good idea to make friends!

Improving your relationship with one of your classmates may lead to them inviting you to the Moonlit Court and propose to be your Doubles Partner!

Planned Features

• STORY - Uncover the mysteries of the Academy and help a ball fairy save the Goddess of Tennis
  
• TENNIS - Play tennis matches inspired by classic tennis games, with RPG elements to spice things up
  
• BOSSES - Challenge bosses that each get their time in the story's limelight and whose fights stretch the bounds of tennis gameplay
  
• ROMANCE - Several Doubles Partners to get to know each with their own story. Be as gay and polyamorous as you want, and stay overnight in their dorm room for intimate scenes. Getting closer with them improves your abilities together in doubles matches.
  
• DIVERSE CAST - Many characters are gay, trans, POC, disabled, etc. The protagonist is a white masculine-presenting dude, but you can choose their name and pronouns.
  
• SCHOOL LIFE SIM - A calendar system while you attend classes over 4 seasons. Hang out at bars, the gym, library, and more. Over time, more things will open up.
  
• TENERGY POWERS - Talk to any tennis ball you see, and learn new tenergetic powers to use during matches.
  
• CUSTOMIZATION - Gain EXP, level up, and choose from a variety of stats to upgrade.
  
• COLLECT - Search areas to find hidden items, money, or information. Find all of the Tennis Facts™ to learn the Truth™ of Tennis™!

Planned Accessibility Features

This is an idea from Laura Kate Dale to create a new industry standard. By listing planned accessibility features, groups of people don't have to wait until the game is released to know if they'll be able to play it. • FULLY BLIND ACCESSIBLE - This is something I worked on with Britt Dye at Whitethorn - we had an ambitious goal to create a new industry standard of making RPGs blind-accessible. (If a small indie can do it, so can AAA!) I plan on continuing this work with Tennis Academy, and will do my best to create an action RPG that blind players can enjoy.
