The music is written to match the flow of gameplay, providing both singing melodies and driving rhythms, while also dropping out at times of rest while the player decides their next move.

• The field map is articulated with a snare drum and cymbals meant to provoke a march-like feeling.

• The snow map features more metallic and glistening percussion, with the strings using more snappy, percussive effects to provoke a sense of ice cracking and shifting.

• The lava map with its metallic hammering and heavy bass bring with it a sense of oppressive weight.

• In between the orchestral sections is the organ, which was intended to highlight a more citadel type map design.
