Reviews

“But that said: if you're in the target group that prefers to work hard to improve yourself, I think Circoid could be the game for you. The concept is smart, the presentation is cool, and the levels are numerous and surprisingly varied. For the price the developer is asking (33 kroner), you don't have much to lose by trying.”
Joachim Froholt

About This Game

Circoid is a one-button action arcade game – but it’s built on dozens of decisions made in split seconds. Dozens of unique levels. Hundreds of obstacles. Thousands of points to collect. And just one you – trying not to crash into a wall.

A neon journey through precision, rhythm, and pixels

It all started with a single pixel.

A tiny red dot appeared – and began to spread.

Infected matrix points stopped responding. Functions failed. Chaos grew.

The system was collapsing.

Then he appeared – the blue pixel.

Alone. Resistant. Uncompromising.

He gathered allies and set out on a diagonal journey across the screen – against the system, against the red, against the collapse.

Impulse. Decision. Movement.

At first glance – just a signal. A point in the system.

But once you move… there’s no turning back.

Every movement is a decision. Every click – a choice between survival and failure.

One button – total control

Use the spacebar, left mouse button, or the A button on your controller. Simple? Only at first.

It’s not about how you control the game – but when. Timing and rhythm are your greatest weapons.

Original movement mechanic

Your form doesn’t jump, run, or shoot. It orbits. It hops between circuits. Changes direction. Whether you dodge the spikes and lasers or shatter again – that’s up to you.

36 levels – 20 lives per level

Each level is harder than the last – but always fair. You’ve got 20 lives per try, and if you lose them all, you restart the current level. Beat the level? Congratulations – your lives are fully restored and the game goes on.

Checkpoints and progression

You don’t have to finish it all in one sitting. If you die, you return to the last unlocked level. And each level contains local checkpoints that shorten your path after every mistake.

Hard? Yes. But not cruel

Circoid doesn’t forgive chaos – but it rewards rhythm, focus, and learning. This challenge can be beaten – and it feels great when you do.

Neon visuals and pulsing soundtrack

The game looks like a glowing circuit diagram – circles, lines, and geometric shapes in constant motion. All set to pulsing electronic music that not only builds tension – it sets the rhythm. It’s a dance… but every mistake hurts.
