Whelm is about a young penguin, thrust into a world of responsibility and adventure. Once a thriving sanctuary, the mysterious island has fallen into disrepair. You must rescue animals, nurture plants and repair machines. You will have to wear many hats, but the island is depending on you. Good luck and thank you for your service.

• Explore a small open world.

• Meet various winter animals in need. Help them when they are stuck or injured. In turn they will help you in your journey.

• Clean and repair strange machines. Discover their functions and get the island back to working order.

• Retrieve machine parts, seeds and other mysterious items with the help of your hover boat.

• For larger transport operations, there is ample space in the house boat. But movement is slower, so settle in and enjoy the ride.

• Restore the greenhouse and nurture the plants.

• Oh and try to prevent an impending catastophe. Mustn't forget that one.
