«In this version of the game, you can explore the first contained open-world slice of the game's island environments, with early access to some later game mechanics.

The plan is then to open up access to the main island and offer a start-to-end experience, while regularly dropping new content to give you more reasons to explore every nook and cranny of the islands!»

«We’re offering Early Access at a reduced price than what we plan for the full game release. It's super important to us that anyone who's supported us during Early Access and helped shape the game feels that it has been worth their time!

If you're excited to play An Island Away in Early Access, we hope it's understood that it's still under development and an evolving experience. This is part of the fun! And if you'd rather wait for the more polished full release, we completely understand, and will be just as happy to see you then!»
