While exploring Nottinghamshire, you will witness the results of extensive research into late 12th century England that will inform every facet of the game world - the populations of towns, the armor and fighting styles of knights and soldiers, the architectural styles that existed, and the ways of life of ordinary people and of kings and lords. This historically-accurate weaves in a fantasy adventure, where supernatural forces clash with the day-to-day lives of grounded, believable characters with their own convictions, goals, and opinions.

Take advantage of immersive stealth mechanics. Enemies will struggle to find you in dark areas, and won’t be able to hear you when you take advantage of quiet surfaces. On the other hand, showing yourself and making noise will guarantee danger will find you.

Gain favor with the factions of Nottinghamshire

Nottingham and Sherwood are home to many factions and groups with their own goals, priorities, and interests, such as the monks of Lenton Priory, rival outlaws, or the nobility. You must choose who to side with in the fight against Prince John, but remember - you can’t please everyone, and helping one faction will mean another will grow to resent you.

The king has vanished, and Prince John’s evil allies have taken up positions of power, left vacant by those who took up the cross and sailed for the Holy Land. But to unravel the truth behind Prince John’s usurpation, you’ll need to fight his wicked servants as well as the dark powers that dwell in the forest. Hidden and ancient evils dwell in forgotten Roman and Danish ruins, where carefully guarded treasures and lore will reveal the true powers working to destroy the soul of England.
