「Early Access is for the multiplayer arena fighter & beat'em up enthusiasts. The ones who have waited decades for a game like this & simply cannot wait any longer. Players who want to feel the gameplay, try out in-development character movesets, versus, & coop levels. It is for the gamers that enjoy frequent content updates that add more value to their early purchase. Getting the game into the hands of fighting game warriors is important, collecting feedback about what's working, what's unnecessary, what's missing, what to prioritize, take polls, etc.」
