Why Early Access?

“This is my first public release of a video game, and to say its rough around the edges is probably an understatement. I also realize I've made something that is probably more esoteric than it needed to be, so I'm looking forward to any feedback from potential enthusiasts as to how to improve things.

I see Early Access as the next hard milestone for me after the demo release, before finally setting my 1.0 launch date.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“A few months at most, I'd really like to put a 1.0 stamp on this before the end of 2024.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I have a laundry list of smaller features yet to be fleshed out, things like Steam Achievements, controller rumble, screen effects, and of course improved polish and presentation in general.

I expect the community will also have some great gameplay suggestions that I would consider to include as part of a full release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version basically a unlocked version of what's available in the demo. The tutorial is complete, all 4 Heirs are functional, all 4 Call Ins and Weapons are available, Gambits can be unlocked and kept, and the campaign runs can be played to completion.

There's nothing really missing from the core experience or otherwise blocked off in Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No plans to change the price after Early Access, since I'm developing this as a part time hobby, I don't plan to go aggressively into sales schemes.

I also don't plan to do any DLC or otherwise paid content, anything extra I build for the game will be included as standard updates.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I am of course open to discussion on the game and its possible directions anywhere that the the community feels it wants to post. Steam discussions, Discord, and direct email (found in the game) are all good options.”

About This Game

Terra Exodus is an experimental action strategy game by a solo developer looking to break some new ground in the genre. Make fast but important decisions to coordinate the robotic soldiers and hold each chokepoint as long as possible.



In the face of impossible odds, the people of Terra look to you for salvation. The Plethora onslaught is relentless, and the planet is on the brink of annihilation. Every citizen of Terra has dedicated the last 50 years to the Exodus Program, an escape plan of global proportions. As a commander in humanity's last stand, your mission is clear: Defend the cities, manage evacuations, and lead the final resistance. Will you rise to the challenge and guide Terra through its darkest hours?



  • Take Control: Gameplay features a controller first approach real time tactics. Balance the needs of the frontline bunker, with the production and operations capabilities of the commander center below!
  • Cloned Commanders: Take the role of the commanders for their brief remainder of duty as they defend the chokepoint long enough to evacuate the city.
  • Hold the Line: Not every city can be reached, choose each destination carefully, balancing for population that can be rescued, and technology that will help the cause.
  • Better, Faster, Stronger: The Plethora invasion forces cannot be defeated, only delayed. Organize missions to evacuate Terra's VIPs that provide new weapons and battlefield options.
  • Lessons Learned: Unlock permanent strategic gambits that can tip the balance enough in your favor to evacuate the entire city in time.
