A “Remastered” Classic… That Never Existed?

In the late ‘90s, a legendary JRPG was released and all but forgotten. OK, maybe it wasn’t… 

But if it had, Eclipse Breaker would have been the kind of game you rented from a video store and played obsessively. Now, returning to your save file after 25 years, this lost classic is making its grand return and morphed from a classic JRPG to an action roguelite; fully “remastered” (read: developed from scratch) with smooth mechanics, enhanced visuals, and the challenge modern fans crave.

The Story: A Hero Out of Time

Back in ’99 you led paladin Ember toward a showdown with the rogue sun‑goddess Solara… then life (or a corrupted save) intervened. Twenty‑five years later, you’re loading that save again. Ember returns to a world still shrouded in darkness, hailed as myth by some and blamed by others. To restore the sun, she must storm the Divine Realm run after run, mastering new powers and rewriting fate until the cycle finally shatters.

Hey everyone, I’m Jorge Rodriguez, the developer behind Eclipse Breaker. This game is a love letter to the roguelites and PlayStation-era RPGs that shaped my love for gaming: fast-paced battles, deep mechanics, and a world full of mystery and danger.
