Por que acesso antecipado?

"Since Micro Stream RPG is an interactive tool meant for Twitch streamers, I'm looking to see how people engage with it. This includes what works, what doesn't, what feels entertaining, and what may feel burdensome. Feedback is huge for developing a game such as this, and I want to take that feedback to make sure Micro Stream RPG is as good as it can be and develop future content that falls in line with what people find most appealing. More than anything I want to make sure Micro Stream RPG complements your stream and audience, not take away from it."

"A couple months at most. I have plans for the next few dungeons that should be available at full launch, but feedback from players and streamers will help determine what other content the game gets moving forward."

"The majority of the systems are in place in the Early Access version, but I do plan for additional dungeons with more enemies, mechanics, and obstacles for players to overcome. I'm also planning a Twitch panel app for the game which will allow players to view their stats, change their character and weapon, and purchase new items. Additional game settings/options may become available as well based on feedback from the community."

"At this point the game is fully functional and contains all options and features listed in the About section below. The game has been through several months of beta testing and any major bugs or connections issues have been sorted out. The game currently has three dungeons for players to progress through, as well as individual player stat, bestiary, and badge recording."

"No. The game will be the same price at launch as it is in Early Access, and I will never charge extra for more content in the future. I plan to do multiple content updates with more dungeons and content for free."

"I want to get feedback from the community on performance and possible suggestions for the future of the game! So far the people who have beta tested the game have enjoyed it and had a lot of positive impact on optimizations to the core experience. I'd love to see how a bigger audience responds to the game, and want to encourage people to share their experiences and thoughts! "

Planejamento

Micro Stream RPG is planned to launch early 2025. The game will hopefully release with a minimum of 5 dungeons and more dungeons will be added over time as free content updates. No DLC required. Holiday and timed event dungeons will also release in the future, and players can earn special badges for completing these areas.

PLEASE NOTE: This game REQUIRES an internet connection and a connection to Twitch to operate. It is a game meant for Twitch streamers to use while they broadcast, and is not meant to be played in a single-player mode. That said...

Are you a Twitch streamer looking for something fun and unique to add to your stream? If so, welcome to Micro Stream RPG! It's a tiny auto-play RPG that your viewers can engage with while you focus on streaming.

How does it work? After a quick connection process, simply run Micro Stream RPG in the background. While you stream, people hanging out can use a chat command (e.g. "!rpg") to activate Micro Stream RPG, putting them into a mini, auto-play adventure.

Each time they play, chatters will face one enemy after another. Defeating monsters lets the player earn EXP, level up, and progress through the dungeon until they finally face off against a powerful boss. If they can defeat the boss, they'll earn a badge and advance to the next dungeon. If the player runs out of HP and is defeated, their dungeon run will end, but they keep all gold and EXP earned along the way, enabling them to progress farther the next time they play!

Micro Stream RPG takes care of all this for you - no input needed! Not only that, but Micro Stream RPG offers a plethora of customization options that allow you the freedom to implement the game however you want into your own streaming environment, including:

Setting various window sizes, and remembering the application's screen position

Chroma color and game color options to style the game to fit your stream

Game speed option if you need to accelerate the action

Queue limits and user entry thresholds to let everyone have a chance to play

Custom engagement messages

The ability to lock out new entries from chat, for when you're trying to end your stream
