What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We are improving the learning curve by listening to your feedback. Our goal? Quantum eSports. As we grow, we’ll shape new competitive modes based on player insights.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It can be anywhere between 3 months to a full year, given what sort of requests we get from the community.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“- Improvements to what we show on the puzzle completion metrics
- Additional tools for designing quantum puzzles
- Weekly/ Monthly tournament play modes
- Additional puzzles that expand on the core experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Bug free, fully playable in a highly polished form, following a successful closed beta, the game offers 50+ story modules (over 50 hours of canon content), upcoming esports tournaments, a sandbox “quantum simulator,” a complete narrative, collectibles, and infinite community-driven endgame content.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, we offer a discounted price for those who buy it during Early Access and contribute to improving our game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I am active on our Discord and reading any in-game submitted feature requests.”

Reviews

“I find the game fascinating. It breaks my ego and absorbs me at the same time. When I start it, it obsesses me. I find myself staring, sometimes for up to an hour on the same puzzle.”
Notebook of a Strategist

“Simply by playing a game, you will learn about quantum computing without any particular educational background. There will not be a math quiz on Monday. Just play the game a little bit more and see what else you learn.”
Quantum Technology News

“This is not your typical puzzle game. This is a triumph of design, a game that dares to explore complex scientific concepts in a way that is both engaging and accessible.”

About This Game

Enter a world where logic becomes landscape and quantum computation becomes art. Every puzzle is an open-ended experiment that invites you to see beyond code and equations into the fabric of information. You will reshape your understanding of reality.

Build, test, and visualize all real quantum phenomena using a full Turing-complete simulator with total visual feedback. There are no pre-defined solutions; every discovery is your own.

Compete with other Seekers, craft your own quantum algorithms, and push the limits of what can be computed or imagined.

You’ll learn key content of dozens of quantum information books through play

  • Boolean Logic – bits, operators (NAND, OR, XOR, AND…), and classical arithmetic (adders). Learn how these can combine to build anything classical. You will learn to port these to a quantum computer.

  • Quantum Logic – qubits, the math behind them (linear algebra, SU(2), complex numbers), all Turing-complete gates (beyond Clifford set), and make tensors to evolve systems. Freely combine or create your own gates to build anything you can imagine using polar or complex numbers.

  • Quantum Phenomena – storing and retrieving information in the X, Y, Z bases; superposition (pure and mixed states), interference, entanglement, the no-cloning rule, reversibility, and how the measurement basis changes what you see.

  • Core Quantum Tricks – phase kickback, amplitude amplification, storing information in phase and retrieving it through interference, build custom gates and tensors, and define any entanglement scenario. (Control logic is handled separately from other gates.)

  • Famous Quantum Algorithms – explore Deutsch–Jozsa, Grover’s search, quantum Fourier transforms, Bernstein–Vazirani, and more.

  • Build & See Quantum Algorithms in Action – instead of just writing/ reading equations, make & watch algorithms unfold step by step so they become clear, visual, and unforgettable.

  • Your Complete Quantum Playground - Quantum Odyssey is built to grow into a full universal quantum computing learning platform. If a universal quantum computer can do it, we aim to bring it into the game, so your quantum journey never ends.

By the time you finish, you won’t just know quantum.
You’ll think in quantum.
