What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“After completing the single player mode, I found that the entertainment between AI and players lacked variability. This 1V1 card game is more suitable for two players to play online. Only then can we unleash the joy of wits and bravery. So I have completely restructured the online mode, using a modular approach to make it more scalable. Therefore, I hope players can come up with more interesting ideas by playing single player mode or incomplete online mode, and add it to the online mode.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan to last about 12 months! There will be irregular iterative updates during the early access process.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The game has three modes: stand-alone game mode, random online matching mode, and online battle mode with friends. The early access version only opens the stand-alone game mode! Random online matching mode and online battle mode with friends will be opened in the official version. During the release of the early access version, I hope to collect players' opinions and feedback and add their interesting ideas to the random online matching mode and online battle mode with friends.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version can only play single player mode games.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“There are still many areas in my mind that I am not satisfied with the preemptive experience version, especially in terms of art, which is not uniform enough. To express my apologies, I will price the preemptive experience version at the lower price I expected. After the preemptive experience version ends, the complete version will be released, with a price increase of more than 50%. The specific increase will depend on the amount of content expansion required based on the suggestions of the players. But at least it will rise by 50%”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“This is a casual card game that I really hope players can participate in the design of the game, provide interesting ideas and suggestions for the game (but do not provide any gameplay that imitates or plagiarizes other games). At present, the gameplay of this game is 100% original and does not refer to any other games. I hope your suggestions are also your original ideas! Use your imagination, I welcome any wild ideas, as long as they are your original. I will check community messages every weekend and communicate with you!”

About This Game

Game background

In 2099, most industries around the world will be replaced by AI intelligent robots. Even the animals in the zoo have been replaced by intelligent machine animals. You are the director of a traditional zoo, leading the traditional Chinese zodiac animals to battle against AI and grow into the world's richest man.

At the beginning of the game

You need to enter the gear icon settings interface, set your personal image, and receive welfare coins. Only when the number of coins reaches 1000 can one enter the game battle.

Game mechanics

There are three types of cards in the game: animal cards, fruit cards, and skill cards

  • Regarding animal cards: The card library currently has 12 types of animal cards, each of which is divided into orange, yellow, and blue, totaling 36 animal cards. Each animal card corresponds to a desired value (represented by a number in the bottom left corner of the card)

  • Regarding fruit cards: The card library currently has 12 types of fruit cards, each of which is divided into orange, yellow, and blue, totaling 36 fruit cards.

  • Regarding skill cards: Players can use skill cards once per turn, which include: wizards, schemers, summoners, artifacts, and peepers. Note: These skills, except for the peephole which is drag and drop used, are all click based.

Gameplay

The side that wins the most coins at the beginning starts first. Two rounds of animal cards will flow out from both sides, each lasting 180 seconds. During this time, players can choose between wizard and strategy skill cards. The sum of the reputation values of the two rounds of animal cards will be the final reputation value. Then the fruit cards will flow out again, and within the time of operating the fruit cards, players can use summoning, immortal tools, and peeping mirror skill cards. Each time is 180 seconds.

Both players and opponents will initially draw 20 cards from the 36 card library as a card pool. Animal cards start by drawing 5 cards from the card pool and then draw 1 animal card per turn. The fruit card will randomly draw 5 cards from the 20 card pool every round.

Core gameplay

Because after both players play the animal card, the other can see it. So, players can click on the camouflage button and then click on the animal card to disguise themselves. The opponent will see the disguised card, which can be disguised as a larger or smaller card to confuse the opponent. Drag and drop the sight glass to the opponent's fruit card area in the upper right corner to view one opponent's fruit card.

Winning and losing rules

After playing the animal card, the reputation value of the animal card will be displayed above the personal image, and when the background is yellow, it is the value for disguise. The true reputation value displayed on a white background. Entering the fruit card round will display the sum of two rounds of reputation values, which is the total reputation value. Then both sides issue skill cards, followed by fruit cards. If the fruit cards of both sides are the same (only distinguishing names without distinguishing colors), the total reputation value of both sides will be exchanged.

The initial winning and losing base is 100, and the base will increase with the player's rank.

AI Growth

When your rank is less than 20, the opponent will only play the wizard card from the skill cards; When your rank is greater than 20 and less than 50, your opponent will play Witcher and Strategy cards; When your rank is greater than 50 and less than 100, your opponent will play Witcher, Strategy, and Summon cards. When your rank is greater than 100, your opponent will receive skill cards such as Wizards, Conspiracy, Summoners, and Immortal Artifacts.
