The sproutkin are often considered the weakest creatures in the land, simple and carefree. Yet one sprout in particular chooses to go on a journey to test its own strength; seeking to defeat the god which threatens to wipe out everything plant life holds dear.

Botanica is a short 2D side-scrolling adventure-platformer that puts you in a world of living plants. Fight and think your way through platforming and puzzles, and test your combat against a variety of enemies and bosses. Utilize the power of seeds that enemies drop to grow and obtain their own abilities, and uncover secrets abundant in this sprawling world.

• Adventure platforming with many secrets to discover

• 2D melee combat and snappy movement. Jump, dash, and climb your way around unique and challenging platforms. Hack and slash or fight from a distance with a variety of different weapon variations.

• 4 unique worlds to explore, each with their own immersive environments and unique platforming challenges.

• Many bosses and minibosses to fight

• Boss rush and extra challenges in different game modes after you complete the game.

• Temporary abilities to interact with the world and fight enemies

• Funny and witty dialogue from fun and endearing characters you’ll meet on your journey. Be careful though, as some of them might not be your friends.

• An all original soundtrack, with unique compositions for every stage, boss, and event in you encounter.

Botanica is a shorter game, with additional challenges for those who want to explore more. Switch up how you approach combat with seed powers you take from your enemies, and obtain powerful abilities from bosses. Use those abilities to explore the world both forward and backwards in your adventure!
