It was not the sleek grace of a passing ship, nor the familiar, lumbering form of a cargo drone. It was a fleshy monstrosity, veins pulsing like neon rivers, its maw a cavern of gnashing teeth that devoured steel and stone with equal ease. This wasn't just another malfunction, not another rogue AI. This was the harbinger, the first monstrous gasp of a hunger that had crossed the void, and it was here to consume us all.

You're a lone robot warrior, blasting through waves of deranged monstrosities to save your kind from oblivion. Think fast, shoot faster, and pray your upgrades don't turn you into scrap.
