A New Dawn

Following the events of the New Dawn Protocol, citizens of New Aartis now live peacefully under the watchful eye of the United Systems Initiative. However, the undead begin to rise once more, this time driven by a mysterious force. Who will step forward to take on the threat and protect this new world? A group of Mercenaries, housed on the Aegis Station, have built a solid reputation for keeping law and order across the system. However, this new threat is unlike anything they have faced before. Can they rise to restore order?

Become immersed in this new world with an all-new, ever-evolving story. Gameplay features full story-style Missions intertwined with fast-paced Operations across multiple worlds that give you the chance to get in and get out, attempting multiple objectives.

Operations

The undead threat can strike anywhere, and your objectives will change with every deployment. Zombie Assault: Resurgence features four distinct Operation types, each demanding different strategies and teamwork:

• Close the Breach – Hunt down and destroy the source of the outbreak before the infection spreads.

• Eradication – Clear an area completely of the undead and secure it for the Initiative.

• Eradication Surge – Face relentless waves of zombies in a test of endurance and firepower.

• Cache Recovery – Locate and secure valuable supplies and tech caches hidden in hostile territory.

Each Operation can also have three varied endings, with Simple, Rush, and the treacherous Boss fight! Adapt your loadouts, coordinate with your squad, and master each Operation type to survive the resurgence.

Deadly Battlegrounds

Your fight for survival spans three treacherous locations, each offering unique challenges and environmental hazards:

• Mining Facility – Navigate tight industrial corridors and conveyor systems where ambushes lurk around every corner.

• Ice Field – Battle freezing winds and reduced visibility across a vast, open tundra where the undead can strike from any direction.

• Abandoned Colony – Explore the ruins of humanity's past, where deserted streets and crumbling structures hide both loot… and death.

Each map is designed for frantic top-down action, encouraging tactical movement, teamwork, and creative use of your gear to survive.

Mercs: The CREDible Faction

You're facing your most dangerous threat ever. The hordes of zombies are coming in many shapes and sizes, with terrifying, never-before-seen powers. Even boss zombies that seemingly appear out of nowhere. Luckily, no job is too dangerous when creds are on the line. Play as one of three unique Mercenary classes:

• Assault – Versatile and deadly, perfect for players who want to hit fast and adapt on the fly.

• Heavy – A walking tank with devastating firepower and the durability to hold the line.

• Medic – The lifeline of the squad, providing healing and support while holding their own in the fight.

Level up, unlock new abilities, and customize your build to create your ultimate zombie-slaying merc. You'll need every advantage against an ever-growing roster of undead enemies, including elite boss zombies with unpredictable attacks.

Strongboxes

Collect Strongboxes dropped throughout missions to earn some epic loot. The more you collect, the more deadly your loadout!

Locked and Loaded

Your survival depends on more than bullets; it depends on strategy. Build your loadout from a vast, upgradeable arsenal of firearms, explosives, and deployable gear:

• Primary and secondary weapons to fit every playstyle

• Grenades and turrets to control the battlefield

• Unique class abilities that can turn the tide in an instant

Mix and match loadouts to adapt to every operation. From tight corridors to open arenas, the right gear can mean the difference between walking away… or getting dragged into the horde.

Aegis Station: Home of the Mercs

You've done well standing on your own two feet for this long, but maybe it's time to join forces. Step into the live multiplayer hub of Aegis where you can choose to go solo or team up with other mercenaries and take on the zombies together. Featuring up to 4 player co-op for even more frantic top-down action!
