Species: Unknown is a co-op survival game and first person shooter for 1 to 4 players, set in a horrific atmosphere. At the end of the 21st century, you and your squad are sent on a high-stakes mission to investigate ravaged spaceships. Work solo or with your teammates to identify, track, and survive the creature lurking in the shadows. Every step could be your last.

TEAM UP.

No one survives alone but you can try... Collaborate with up to 3 teammates on different missions with varying difficulty levels, and objectives that can change depending on the map and the creature stalking you.

TRACK.

• Investigate your surroundings to gather vital clues and identify the alien threat. The corpses onboard aren’t just decoration — they might just give you a dead giveaway on what’s haunting you!

• Figure out a way to eliminate creature.

• Solve small puzzles that unlock secrets/weapons critical to your survival.

• Annihilate the threat to get your reward.

SURVIVE.

Survive at all costs by adopting the right group strategy. Use the environment to your advantage and make use of the tools at your disposal: 

• Motion Detector: keep an eye on nearby movement and track lurking creatures before they get too close

• Shield: deploy a portable energy shield to block incoming attacks and protect yourself and your team in tight situations

• Health Syringe: quickly heal yourself or teammates when the fight gets too intense

• Mini-Map: navigate the ship’s dark corridors with real-time intel on your location

REPEAT.

Expand your list of kills and earn credits that you can use to customize your equipment, allowing you to face the fiercest creatures. As you face stronger, more cunning monsters, your customized gear becomes your best chance at survival in the cold reaches of space.
