為何採用搶先體驗模式？

「Early access enables all players interested in the project to participate in the creation and the improvement of the game, up to its final form... and beyond!」

這款遊戲的搶先體驗時間大約會持續多久？

「Profiler Files will be available in early access until the official release of its version 1, scheduled for the 2027, if all goes well. But you never can be sure, in game development, right? We'll try as much as possible to stick to it.」

正式版預計會與搶先體驗版有何不同？

「The entirety of the game's episodes will be available, and various technical and aesthetic improvements will be implemented: the visual style will be more consistant (by now, the graphics are conceptual art guides), the final characters will be more expressive, there will be additional features, cinematics, etc. The quantity and extent of the final enhancements will depend on the success of the campaign.」

搶先體驗版目前的開發進度如何？

「The first Profiler Files build already available on Steam is a working on progress but you can see firsthand what the final product should look like. This version includes the very first (and shortest) episode of the game and showcases the core mechanics of Profiler Files. Dialogue choices, searching for clues in the environment, profiling, variations in story progression, and alternative endings – everything that will be at the heart of Profiler Files is there!」

「Certainly!」

We’re excited to share our roadmap for the coming months. Development is moving forward , and here’s what we have in store for you:

🗓️ 2025

- Complete overhaul of Episode 1 and the demo with brand-new visuals.

- Migration to a new game engine, for a smoother and more immersive experience.

- 🗓️ 2026 – First Half

- Completion of half the episodes for the full version.

- Customization of the user interface for intuitive navigation.

- Full translation of the content in English, to reach an international audience.

🗓️ 2026 – Second Half

- Early Access launch on Steam, accompanied by a new demo.

- Writing the remaining episodes while testing and debugging the earlier ones.

- Translation of the final episodes.

- Composition, recording, and integration of the original soundtrack.

🗓️ Early 2027

Official release of the commercial Version 1.0 🎉

Yep, quite a gap, right?

As a young FBI agent freshly landed in the field, you will face all sorts of situations and encounter a variety of characters. Your choices, your intuition and your deductions will dictate the course of the story.

How you interact with characters, the clues you find at crime scenes, and the psychological analysis you perform on suspects, victims, and other protagonists will determine the progression of the adventure, the success or failure of each investigation... and, of course, the outcome of the game and the central arc of Profiler Files.

  • Branching narrative with multiple endings, within each episode and at the final resolution.

  • Point-and-click investigation.

  • Colorful characters and plenty of humor... which doesn't prevent serious, sometimes even grave, themes worthy of the best crime series.
