Based on ASU’s Mars Space Flight Facility JMARS GIS tool, Planetary Parfait is a platform for interactive access to planetary datasets, designed to enhance research and education around a plethora of planetary data collected by NASA instruments. Planetary Parfait supports collaboration between collocated and remote users across VR and desktop platforms, making it ideal for teams working together in real-time or asynchronously.

Users can prepare terrains using JMARS GIS, save them to their accounts, and easily access them in Parfait, bringing the terrains and complementary scientific data layers into an immersive 3D environment.
