About This Game

Stoneguard is an immersive strategy game in which you must defend the magical Lifestone in a grim medieval apocalypse.

Base Building

Build up your settlement with NPC housing, farms, workshops and more.
Defend the settlement and the Lifestone with walls, towers and siege equipment.
Repair your defences and buildings with the help of your survivors after the tough battles.

Resource Management

Hunt and gather resources from the world yourself, and find survivors to join your settlement to help with gathering, crafting, building and more.

Equip your survivors and yourself before nightfall with different weapons and armor, including unique weapons researched and crafted from the limbs of defeated monsters.

Keep track of the sun as you only have a certain amount of time during the day to prepare before the next attack.

Apocalyptic warfare

Combat can be brutal in Stoneguard, anyone and anything can lose limbs which will cause significant disadvantages in both battle and day to day life. But as long as the Lifestone is protected, there are ways to heal your battle wounds.
Accurate weapon tracing detects which body part has been hit. You must be tactful in combat to protect your vital limbs and choose which parts of your enemies to remove...

Strategise your defences before nightfall, then command and fight alongside your survivors in combat, whilst giving out orders during the thick of battle.

Unique and immersive RTS

Experience a strategy game from a third person point of view, with a dynamic day and night cycle which ties in the three phases of gameplay; day time, preparation phase and night time.

During the day, you will be able to gather and manage your resources, craft items, and construct fortifications and buildings for various uses.

At dusk, the preparation phase begins. The time of day is now paused and all resource gathering and construction ceases. This phase enables you to strategize in your own time; manage survivors into groups, which you can order into defensive positions, formations, and combat behaviour. You can also swap your own equipment and that of the survivors.
When ready, you can end the preparation phase and the night time battle commences.

Once the night starts, waves of monsters will attack you and your settlement until dawn arrives.

Research and crafting

Craft various tools, weapons and armor.
Research the limbs of fallen monsters to unlock craftable exciting new weapons.
