In Tales From the Herd, you will take the role of a wandering pony who finds themselves discovering a mysterious abandoned village, and are given free rein to live a new life there as you see fit. Among many other future plans, it will focus on the following key elements:

• A Beautiful, Stress-Free World

As a longtime artist, one of my first goals was to create a vibrant, immersive world for players to engage with – and not at the expense of their peace of mind. There are no hunger meters, or health bars to worry about. You will be rewarded for experimenting, but not punished for playing exclusively for the story or even just the fishing.

• Dynamic Dialogue

Character conversations are designed to be completely flexible and organic, meaning you never have to stop what you're doing to chat with a friend. It's also all handled in a naturalistic way, where you can politely leave a conversation before it's finished, respond to questions with a myriad of options – or you don't even have to respond at all! The characters in Tales From the Herd account for all of this.

• Building Meaningful Friendships

Every pony in Tales From the Herd has a story to tell. They'll be with you on adventures, have their own schedules, and gradually open up to you as everyone eventually finds their place in the village.
