AWA 2024 is a heavily remastered version of the original game. The modifications include a transition to a HD 16:9 gameplay screen, improved bullet patterns for the enemies, much improved graphics with a pixel art look for nostalgia, brand new soundtrack and sound effects, two new aircraft to unlock and a lot more. About the original: AWA (Aircraft Warfare Arcade) is a fast paced shoot-em-up featuring modern military aircraft. Choose one of the ten fighter aircraft and take the battle to the skies throughout nine action-packed stages each with their own special end-level boss.
