Tekoha: A Tale Among the Stars is a narrative-driven light RPG following two Indigenous Brazilian sisters on an emotional journey to reunite after a tragic event reshapes their homeland. Featuring turn-based combat and a visually striking world inspired by the rich cultural heritage of the Guarani-Kaiowá people, the game offers an immersive and heartfelt experience. It explores themes of resilience and the unwavering fight to preserve Indigenous culture alongside the breathtaking environment of the Brazilian Pantanal.

THE STORY:

After a land grabber’s violent assault splits them apart, sisters Ari and Tai find themselves on separate paths. Ari gets stranded in the spiritual world, where ancient voices guide her, while Tai risks everything to track her sister down and stand against the forces threatening their people.

Players will control both sisters, diving into the Guarani-Kaiowa culture and experiencing the beauty and challenges of two intertwined realms. One is guided by spirit, the other by survival. 

As Ari and Tai search for each other, their journey will become one of self-discovery, deepening their connection to their roots and ancestors. The sisters will navigate breathtaking landscapes and face trials that will test their strength, spirit, and resolve, ultimately leading them to reunite in the heart of the Pantanal.

MEET THE CHARACTERS

Gifted with the rare ability to see beyond the veil of the visible world, Ari views life through a lens shaped by empathy, wonder, and a deep connection to the spiritual realm. Raised in a nurturing environment filled with love, she carries a heart full of compassion and a spirit attuned to forces others cannot perceive. When a sudden tragedy separates her from her sister, Ari is pulled into a mysterious spiritual journey. It will test her strength, awaken her true potential, and guide her toward healing, home, and the powerful legacy of her roots.

As the older sister, Tai was forced to grow up fast. She witnessed firsthand the devastation brought by land grabbers and the relentless destruction of the forest. With violence encroaching on her home, she took on the role of protector, brave, focused, and unshakable. Raised alongside her loyal horse, Tai honed her strength and precision, able to unleash a storm of arrows even at full gallop. Fiercely loyal and driven by love, she carries the weight of responsibility for her sister and her community, ready to face any threat that stands in her way.
