About This Game


Death & Tactics combines the chaotic fun of an autobattler with the strategic depth of a roguelike. In a dungeon staffed by the undead, you play as a reluctant new "hire". Your goal is to quit and gather as much loot as you can along the way. During which you can expect to encounter tricky enemies, many strange and unique items, interactive-minigame like events, and much more.

Depth, Complexity, and Strategy

  • Classes, Items, Skills and more! Death & Tactics gives the strategic player many tools to play with.

A Dangerous Dungeon

  • The floors you'll find here will have strange and powerful modifiers. Even veteran players will need to stop and think how they will approach each obstacle.

Features:

  • Stats - Each character has rpg-like stats, (stamina, strength, speed etc.) which your skills scale off of. Level up, equip items, or otherwise upgrade your character to become stronger.
  • Skills - Over 350+ skills (attacks, spells, passives, and ultimates) that each character can draft from. Balance defense, offense, and utility for what your team needs.
  • Classes - Each character has one of 16 classes which encourages different play styles.
  • Tactics - Your party will have a roster of party buffs and enemy debuffs that you can activate for each combat. Some tactics are more effective on certain enemies than others
  • Companions - Companions offer ways to plan your path through the dungeon. Do you want more info on the floor and enemies? or Maybe more loot per floor?
  • Potions/Devices - Realtime/Mouse controlled active abilities which can turn the battle if used skillfully.
  • Heavy Variation - There are many ways to defeat enemies. Powerful spells, overwhelming summons, degenerating statuses, player-aimed devices, old-fashioned brawn and more. You will need to consider many strategies to get far.
  • A Fun Dungeon - The events in this game are fully interactive 'minigame' like encounters. We've put a lot of effort into making the map and event traversal interesting and memorable.

This game is currently under development. The release date is TBD. We hope to bring a demo in 2024.
