SUMMARY

Paranox is a singleplayer survival horror game. As a Paranormal Researcher you find yourself taking an abandoned school as your research project, hoping to uncover the secrets that lay within the shadows. As you explore the haunted school you will find that you are not alone, your goal is to explore the school's twisted labyrinths in search for clues that will maybe lead you to the answers you seek... You must survive at all costs. BEWARE, as your presence within the walls of the school has caused an emergence of terrifying creatures...

GAMEPLAY

In Paranox you will have to traverse the school's labyrinth and avoid the creatures that stand in your path. Beware, as each creature has their own way to sniff you out so you should use your environment, spatial awareness and strategy in order to complete your research and survive. Your research consists of collecting a set amount of clues, which will uncover the secrets that have been buried within its crumbling walls.
No two games will play out the same way, no area is safe.
The more you know, the more relentless the creatures become, craving to snuff out your sanity's flame.
You can traverse vents and hide in lockers. Use the twisted labyrinth rooms and long, dark corridors with caution.

OBJECTIVE

Collect notes to reveal specific items which will have to be picked up. You will need to pick up 10 notes, and 10 items corresponding to each of those notes. When you pick up a note, X marks the spot on your map where you will find the item that you need to pick up. Once a note is picked up, all other notes disappear until you have picked up the item which corresponds to that note. Be careful as the creatures will do everything in their power to stop you.

  There are 3 difficulty levels you can choose from: Casual, Normal and Impossible.

  We have an inbuilt Speedrun Timer and we encourage everyone to try and speedrun the game on each difficulty level and share their runs!
