“I am publishing the game as Early Access in order to bring awareness to BlockJump during its development stage and to allow people to give ideas via my Discord server and Youtube Channel listed lower down the page.

I would like to get ideas from the community in order to quicken the development process and also to ensure the game is developed to be as entertaining as possible.”

“I am uncertain, it could be some years depending on how much life interferes with the progression of development.”

Hvorledes kommer den fulde version til at være anderledes end produktet i tidlig adgang?

“I plan to make the full version have much more unlockable content and customisation. There will be some sets of levels which I plan to carry out in 4 Phases. (BlockJump has just completed Phase 1 of development).

Phase 2 is planned to take place within a Desert Temple where there would be various routes to escape, along with new obstacles and challenges for the player to overcome.

Phase 3 may include a Snow Theme with some ice that the player would skid on along with snow that will slow down the player.

Phase 4 is planned to refine the game by adding new customisation options along with more unlockable content.

However, this plan may change and be improved upon if I think of a better idea, or if you (or someone else in the community) give me a superior option and I decide to implement it as a result.”

Hvad er den nuværende tilstand for versionen med tidlig adgang?

“You play as a square who tries to beat a Section of the game as fast as possible. Once you complete a Section, you will earn stars (up to 3) depending on how fast you were. There are a few achievements built into the game, along with a slightly customisable win screen.

In the main game you jump over spikes, bounce on clouds, use dash panels and collect powerups to beat the game.

Alongide the main game, there are 2 Extras: Evasion & Hyperspeed.
- Evasion: You dodge a barrage of attacks with increasing difficulty for around 3 mins. (If you
die, you have to start over).
- Hyperspeed: A set of unique levels whilst everything (both you, and everything around you)
moves at 4x speed.

Each Extra gives 1 star upon completion.”

“Yes, the price will increase slightly when each phase of development is implemented due to the addition of new content.”
