In Merchant's Odyssey, you step into the shoes of a young merchant who is thrust into action due to family circumstances. As a fledgling merchant, your role will involve planning journeys, trading goods, making critical decisions in unfolding events, and recruiting powerful mercenaries to assist you in navigating the numerous dangers of the road. The game experience revolves around three key pillars:

Combat:

  • Engage in turn-based combat with group initiative and an strong tactical factor.
  • Experiment with synergies in combat where even positioning matters.
  • Utilize diverse character classes with unique skills, offering a wide range of playstyles.

Decision-Making:

  • Confront various events along your journey that will challenge your decision-making abilities and the capabilities of both your merchant and mercenaries.
  • Build trust with your mercenaries and provide them with directions for personal development as they gain experience.
  • Earn experience points for your merchant character and choose enhancements from a skill tree.

Travel:

  • Strategically plan and travel to destinations of your choice, considering your capacity to maximize profits.
