“We estimate Hangry will be in Early Access for 1-2 years.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to include additions and changes to combat, evolving (upgrading), checkpoint handling for saving & death and progression with regards to cooking and recipes. We also plan to include more tailored bosses, NPC interactions, shops and events so there is more for the player to interact with and explore on their journey. In addition, we plan to improve performance.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Early Access for Hangry has a fully completable story to explore with cinematics, fully voice-acted dialog scenes, 2 difficulties, a large skill tree, 4 unlockable weapons, 5 explorable levels, a cooking mini-game, over a hundred recipes to discover and many types of monsters to fight. Combat mechanics have been developed to a high degree and a focus for development in terms of polish and improvement. Custom key binds are available.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We have no plans to change the price at this time.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to promote community involvement by responding to Steam community discussion threads. We also plan to post news and updates to the activity feed to relay important milestones, changes, bug fixes and what to expect. If you would like to provide the game feedback, joining the Steam discussion and starting a thread is the best way to let the dev team know how you feel.”
