“Developing Afallon as a solo developer is a significant undertaking, requiring a lot of time and resources. Early Access allows me to put the game in your hands sooner, enabling me to gather crucial feedback from the community. Your experiences, insights, and suggestions will be invaluable in helping me iterate and improve the game, ensuring that it evolves into it's best version.”

“While the nature of game development holds some inherent uncertainty regarding timelines, i anticipate that "Afallon" will be in Early Access for approximately between one and two years. ”

“The biggest difference will be the amount of content, polish and the size of the world. Some new gameplay mechanics might be added, but its to hard to tell at this stage of development.”

“In its current Early Access state, the game includes the basics, you can create your character by choosing from 3 classes and 2 races (with more to be added throughout EA). There’s also limited character customization. The game features a large open world with quests, crafting materials to gather, and various crafting benches for creating gear and consumables. There are also dungeons and challenge stones for players seeking more challenging content.”

“The pricing structure for the game will be reflective of its development stage. During the early access phase, the game will be offered at a lower price point compared to the full release.”

Afallon is a large open-world RPG set in a high fantasy world. The gameplay and character controls take strong inspiration from MMORPGs, offering an experience that feels both familiar and expansive. You’ll explore a handcrafted world filled with quests, dungeons, rare encounters, and evolving challenges that reward progression and exploration.

Choose Your Destiny

Create your unique character by choosing from multiple races and classes, each offering distinct abilities and stat bonuses. Your build determines your playstyle, whether you prefer close combat, powerful magic, or tactical ranged attacks. Progression is centered around improving your character through better equipment and mastering your abilities.

Dungeons and Challenges

Dungeons are larger, more demanding adventures with multiple bosses, unique layouts, and distinct themes to explore.

Challenge Stones offer shorter trials scattered across the world, ranging from wave survival and boss encounters to timed and platforming challenges. Both types of content reward players with valuable loot and resources.

Dynamic and Evolving World

Your actions have lasting effects. Many quests leave permanent changes on the world, altering camps, settlements, or unlocking new paths. As your power grows, so does the world’s danger, new and stronger enemies begin to appear alongside familiar ones, keeping every region alive and challenging.

Crafting

The world is filled with resources like herbs, ores, and materials that can be gathered and crafted into useful gear, consumables, and upgrades. Crafting is an important part of character growth and preparation for tougher content.
