About This Game

DISCLAIMER: Please read the first image.
Like seriously. Read it.

Aite look. Only real G's are gonna play/attempt this game.
This is a TTRPG. You know how TTRPG's go? Yeah this is one of'em, and yes. you will require friends and a group to play it with. Like most TTRPG's.

This is an engine to play the TTRPG. It does shit like automatic dice rolling and calculations for you, and unlocking abilities so you don't have to do stupid ass "homework"

There is a whole ass character creator too. all ya do is click the thingies and yeah that's it. its easy.

This was a TTRPG made for me and my friends, but im sharing it with you here too, and because of that. i'm making it free(sorta). just gotta join the discord. but hey if you dont like to socialize(who doesn't socialize with TTRPG's? The f**k?) you can just buy the stuff on ko-fi. Why not on steam? cause this game isn't only on steam. so i can't just use steams interface. so yeah. links in the "visit the website" link if you just wanna pay for it. Helps me out 👍 but yes i know discord is cringe and discord mods are the worst. i assure you i am too.

Anyways what the hell even is this game dude? I don't know.
The "setting"? uhhh A world flourishing after a 10k year long war. 2 gods are dead, 3 are MIA and the other one doesn't care.
So the realms they take care of? yeah not being cared for. so you can go to any realm and do whatever you want. and its probably lore and book accurate.
theres 6 realms (in the main image of the game)
EImon(red- Chaos),
Elusia(Green - Nature),
Grimlow(Black - Underworld),
Sostrum(Blue - Mana),
Vidulyn(Gray - Technology),
Yumalon(White- Overworld)

So with the gods completely out of commissions. It's up to the Ascensions to bring order to the realms. This power given to ascensions is given by the same elder primordial who gave its power to the gods in the first place, but this thing wants you to earn it.

So anyways, Your goal as a player(The Fateborne) is to take control of a member(Create one) of Ardron(the universe) and either:
1. Ascend and take control of the realm of your birth to protect it.
2. Descend, and give all of your power to the elder primordial so that they can help take care of the realm of your birth.

If your character dies? You get nothing. You lose, GOOD DAY SIR!
The kicker is. To ascend or descend. You have to acquire knowledge. experience(points), and become stronger.
However once you become level 21. You become an Initiate. You steal half of the current Ascensions power. and your Game Master(Weavers) will set up a duel either between you 2 specifically, or the whole party versus all the parties ascensions at the same time. Big war time. lots of fun. Or you can just concede and Descend right then and there.

That's the setting and the plot/reasoning for the game. If your character don't have a goal. Well it has one now, or maybe your character wants to do something else and just accidentally finds themselves in this situation? Who knows. Its your character.

ANYWAYS for a little more GM / Player information.

Players are the Fateborne. As they control the fates of their players. With this privilege they allow their characters to gain supernatural powers granted from the gods that once were.
HOWEVER
As to not create the snafu that happened before. The Elder Primordial now entrusts all the Fateborne with a Weaver(The Game Master(GM).
The GM is also given power to basically... Change literally anything about the world whenever they want and how they want.
It is the Weavers job to guide the Fateborne, and help them on their personal journeys.

but everything is in tandem. For the Weavers to change how the world works. The Fateborne must also agree to it. As it requires all of the parties combined power given by the primordial to change the universe(ok so basically this is just an in universe explanation to say. hey this is a f***king co-op game. Work together, and agree to changes together. and yes that is RAW(rules as written) so 👍)

Also to not neglect the GM. There is a side for you to. WIth a bunch of special tools and assistance to help you. like a quick and easy Hostile generator for combat, and an NPC generator. and unlimited notes for locations, npc's and the campaign, and yeah. it helps me a lot(Hi I'm a forever GM).

If you've made it this far you're probably thinking (wow this isn't very professional) and that's cool. I'm not a very "professional" person, and besides. this (and all TTRPG's) are literally a game where you use your imagination. get outta here with that s**t.

uhhhhh otherwise what else can i say about the game?
There is over 20 unique Classes (Each with 3 Skill tree's)
There is over 50 unique Species (most with 2 or more subspecies...and other super weird ones with over 9)
..and my god over 100 upgrades. which is more fun supernatural powers for your characters at certain levels.
There is currently 10 Trades (basically jobs like blacksmithing and magical weapon crafting to get unique items)
and with all of those im working on more... Soon as im done fixing bugs. Coding is hard sometimes. Specially net code.

Speaking of too much content. unlike OTHER certain games. 👏 As a player. When your class levels up... you always get an ability. every level. as it should be.
Most of them are combat based but... that's because combat is a huge damn mess. its the biggest section of the game (just to close loopholes and fix things) and its completely optional 🤷‍♂️ AoA was mostly made as an adventure based game, so listening to stories and gaining "experience" was just that. but we added combat, and if I'm going to add something I'm going to go all out. So yeah its there.

Are you still reading this? Damn. It's been quite a ramble. Well if you have the attention span to sit through all this, you can surely play the game.
Its uhhh. not crunchy? not lite? A lot of people compare it to G.U.R.P.S just for its choices and complexity alone, but also compare its simplicity to 5th edition D&D if it was actually good.
So basically...... its really simple to understand once you "get it", but it can take a lil while for that to happen. It's like a snowball effect ya know?

I mean to be honest most people just watch a youtube tutorial on how to play TTRPGs instead of reading a book anyways so I don't think it matters.
I should probably make one of those.... There is a quick start guide and the full PDF of rules and how to if you really wanna read up.
I'll get to all that sometime. I got bugs to fix...

ANYWAYS. Hope to see ya in discord, or see your payment on Ko-fi 👍 Love ya faces.
Peace.
