What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“This is my platform to create and release small games over the next few years. While building the first game, Grapestomper Rescue, I created a game framework from scratch in C. Now I'm using that framework to build more games, and continuing to improve and expand the framework as I do.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I'm currently planning on 3 years, but that is a very loose estimate.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to create around 5 total games for this package. I also plan to enhance the existing games with additional quality-of-life features.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Two games are complete so far, and I'm hard at work on the next!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I may increase the price when more games are complete.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I want players to report bugs and provide feedback about the gameplay and other qualities of my games. I plan to release the source code for my game framework to the public domain.”

About This Game

This is my collection of small games, the kind which you might casually play when you wake up early on a Saturday morning.

Games included so far:

Grapestomper Rescue - A helicopter flying game where you rescue orphaned Grapestompers from rock-throwing, gun-toting worms. Grapestompers will stomp grapes to make wine at your base, which you can sell to buy upgrades.

Transistor Glow - Electronics puzzle game where you use transistors to build logical solutions. Also includes a free-play mode with expanded grid for making custom electronic creations!

More games to come...

Further details:

Grapestomper Rescue

In Grapestomper Rescue, you fly a helicopter across a procedurally generated terrain, picking up orphaned Grapestompers and grapes to bring back to your base. There, the Stompers will happily stomp your grapes, making barrels of wine which you can sell to buy upgrades for your helicopter and base! Use these upgrades, like enhanced shields and fire rate to take on the worms, who will throw rocks and shoot at your helicopter to take it down. Save up enough for the Grapevine-O-Matic, which generates grapes while you relax and watch the Stompers at work!

Grapestomper Rescue is at times action-packed, when you have low ammo and shields and are trying to rescue a Stomper from amidst several worms, and at times relaxed as you watch them stomp your grapes back at your base.

The goal of Grapestomper Rescue is to save up enough money to purchase a spaceship, so that you can escape this nasty, worm-infested planet and take the poor Stompers to a new homeworld.

Transistor Glow

Across 20 levels, learn to use a few simple principles to create complex logic! In creative mode, build bigger, more complex electronics in a 127x127 grid. Save your creations and share them with friends!

Open Source

I program these games from scratch in the C programming language, using only OS platform libraries. The code for my game framework and games will soon be released as open-source under the GPL licence.
