'First and foremost, it depends on you and your feedback. My current goal is to take the game out of Early Access within a year. I firmly believe that by then I can offer a game that is worthy of your time, money and will bring you fun for years to come.'

'In the complete version of the game I plan to add:
  • A decent combat system
  • Much more maps to the game as it's an entire Solar System after all!

'What is missing or incomplete?
  • Incomplete maps or not resembling the final vision.
  • Balancing can be imperfect (Farming, Food, Enemy Health etc.)
  • Music is very much missing at this moment! (I plan on making my own music)

  • Playable with minor bugs as I tend to do a lot of play testing!
  • The survival mechanism with all its functions!

Astral Outcast - Spacetime Survival is an open world survival-exploration RPG!

You've become a spaceship captain who transports supplies to Earth's colony on Mars.

On a return trip your ship gets lost on the way back to Earth.

Can you find out how to survive in space and get back home?

As it seems you are no longer in our own solar system anymore.

you will have to start planning your survival and explore an unknown solar system.

Survive! Take care of your oxygen, food, water, sleep and even temperature, radiation and gravity!

Maintain your ship! Your ship will need hydrogen fuel to traverse the vast expanse of space!

And also oxygen to create a breathable atmosphere!

Build outposts! Create a foothold on asteroids, planets, and moons!

Farming and Hunting! You will need to take care of your daily needs! Hunger and hydration!

Crafting and Cooking! Armors, Weapons, Tools and even upgrades for your ship!

Create decent meals with the alien flora and fauna you encounter on your travels!

Explore! An entire Solar System! Planets, Moons, and Asteroids!

And exploit it's resources!

Hey everyone!

I’m Steve, the solo developer behind Astral Outcast. This project started as a small weekend experiment and somehow turned into a passion project. Every mechanic, from being able to fly with your ship to how each world feels unique, was made with the idea of making something special.

Even if the game definitely takes idea's from other titles that gave me inspiration.

As a lifelong fan of Survival-exploration games, I wanted Astral Outcast to capture that quiet, mysterious feeling of being lost in space where nobody else has ever set foot before.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who’s played the demo, shared feedback, or just followed the development journey. Your support keeps this little game alive. I’m still learning every day, and I hope when you play the full release, you’ll feel a bit of the love and obsession that went into every pixel and feature.
