Theonel Studios proudly presents "Breakthrough: Kemet X - Episode 1: Jaraqo's Dream," the first installment of an episodic short game series. Meticulously crafted by a solo developer, "Breakthrough: Kemet X" explores an alternate history where the indigenous empires of Kemet (Ancient Egypt) remained unconquered by imperial forces. This series blends African history with Afro-futurism in a narrative adventure, unique in the gaming world.

"'Jaraqo's Dream' introduces players to Jaraqo, a warrior prince determined to become the ruler of the newly discovered galaxy named Kemet X. His path to power is challenged by galactic overlords opposing his rule. The story of 'Breakthrough: Kemet X' unfolds through short episodic game releases, each revealing a new chapter in Jaraqo's journey and exploring the uncharted territories of an alternate African history.

The first episode, coming in December 2024 on PC, invites players into the beginning of Jaraqo's saga. Each episode promises a short and compact gameplay experience, perfect for delving into the rich tapestry of an alternate history of Ancient Egypt in a single sitting.
