'This story is not one that can be told quickly. Both writing the story and creating the images and animations takes a considerable amount of time and effort. Early Access allows me to get the game in front of players early, and to be able to use feedback from early players to correct issues and improve future content.'

'Unexpected Consequences is currently planned to be six chapters long, plus an epilogue. As of version 0.9, chapter 1 is complete as well as the first eight days of chapter 2. The final update to chapter 2 is in progress and estimated to be released in September of 2024. Posing and rendering the CG stills and animations is the greatest factor in development time, but I have worked towards reducing the time taken through process improvements and updated hardware. I have already stared writing chapter three, allowing me to start creating art for it as soon as Chapter 2 is finished. I plan to continue to accelerate my development pace and am currently targeting completion by the end of 2025. Until then, you can expect regular updates to the game with additional content.'

Over dit spel

Follow the story of a sophomore at Ocean City University with a tragic past. Three years after a close friend's unfortunate accident, followed shortly by the death of your parents, two new young women come into your life, triggering a chain of events that lead to you reconnecting with your first love and learning the truth about the events of three years ago.

With the help of some of your parents' former FBI colleagues and an international task force, you'll dive head first into an investigation that will expose a ruthless syndicate who's reach extends far beyond Ocean City, making new friends along the way and choosing which relationships to nurture into something more. Be careful though, as some choices will make you the arbiter of life and death and some consequences may just be unexpected.

Experience a stirring story and enjoy the companionship of the lovely ladies in your life as you navigate a path towards extricating the Syndicate from your life and the lives of those close to you.

In this choice-based adult visual novel, you will make decisions that will alter your relationships with those around you and guide the story down divergent paths. Along the way, you will unlock bonus images in the image gallery, earn achievements, and encounter animated lewd scenes, unlocking them in the replay gallery.
