Pourquoi choisir l'accès anticipé ?

« We believe that the game is in an enjoyable state with some unfinished features and content. Launching in early access will give the community a chance to experience and enjoy the portion of content that is finished, while giving us the time and resources to develop and polish the remaining features with much valued community feedback. Some features maybe unfinished or in a crude state, for instance animations, UI and character creation. We wish to make our game rich in experience and fun. We wish to be transparent with the development and involve the community in the development process. »

« The game might be in Early Access for about 18 months. »

En quoi la version finale sera-t-elle différente de la version en accès anticipé ?

« We plan to add more content such as the return of the Sky People to a New Habitat Biome. We have plans to add new materials, new mysteries, and new challenges. Currently, the crafting and building systems are limited to floating islands. We want to expand on the air ship system and add building, decorating, and crafting on the air ships as well. We plan on adding new air ships and new land builds. For example, we want to add Floating Castles and decorating to our current building system. Other features such as full controller support, seasonal events, and additional game difficulty modes are also planned. The user interface and animations will also be improved. »

Quel est l'état actuel de la version en accès anticipé ?

« The main features of the game have been implemented. Single-player and LAN modes are fully functional. The crucial part of the story is complete. The arrival of the Sky People, the survival (split up into 13 unique survival challenges), supply gathering, and the air adventures are complete. The return part of the story is yet to be finished, but we have already set the groundwork for it. There are about 6 air ships and about 400 items already in the game to be discovered and crafted. We currently have two building styles, wood, and stone with about 100 items and decorations (building pieces, artwork, lights, trees, shrubs, etc.) to build with. Players can craft air ships and travel together on the same ship or separate ships. Good things take time, and we want to make the best game we can. »

« The pricing for the full release has not been finalized yet, but it is likely that the price may increase moderately when we release. »

« We wish to take community feedback seriously and improve the game based on feedback received. This may include new features, bug fixes or even new items and stories added to the game based on community ideas! »

Cloud 9 is an immersive 3D survival, base builder game based in the skies. In Cloud 9 you can build a base on floating rocks, craft and fly an airship, battle dragons, gather supplies, and explore floating islands.

The Backstory
Set thousands of years into the future, AI and Humans have fused personalities as part of the Cloud 9 initiative to propagate humanity into the future. Human bodies are no longer capable of withstanding the changing conditions, and Collective Human Consciousness is now preserved inside AI bodies that can survive the thinning air and fluctuating gravity.

A new species of dragons has emerged as the Alpha predator that dominates the skies. The new AI-infused humans, or the "Sky People" as some call them, must share the skies with fearsome dragons. The Sky People must adapt and learn ways to keep themselves safe.

As the world terraformed over the years, the survivors on land floated useful supplies, journals, stories, and knowledge to the skies in an effort to preserve what was left of mankind. Will you help the Cloud 9 initiative rekindle humanity as it rises to the skies?

Build a Base
You can build an adorable home in the clouds or build yourself a floating castle, should your heart desire! Your base serves as a shelter that protects you from harmful conditions and hostile Dragon invasions.

Build an Airship
Craft and sail in airships or hot air balloons. You can sail the skies and gather supplies or battle fearsome dragons. Engage in airship battles and shoot air cannons mounted on your airships!

Help restore a city
Restore and defend the Cloud 9 city from hostile invasions. Trade goods and supplies with the townsfolk and earn gold and various rewards.

Overall Cloud 9 is a combination of Charm and Thrill! Come have fun building in the skies and let us take you on a survival adventure like never before!
