Why Early Access?

“For us, the community is a key piece in the development process, and because of that, we want to involve you on this adventure, to tweak and adjust everything that is needed to make Masks of the Void: Origins shine at its fullest.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game is planned to be launched during the first quarter of 2026. We do not want to infinitely keep the game on Early Access. This is an adjusted, timed and specific event, focused on the game experience.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The main story of the game is fully implemented. We are setting up some extra challenges and modifiers for the full launch. We are planning to have access to a new game mode meant to be played after the main story. This would be focused on difficulty modifiers for a “hardcore" mode with hidden achievements, more rewards, and some surprises under the blanket!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game contains its full depth and essence. You will get to play Iret’s experience and how she got the power of telekinesis, as you get deeper into the Void and explore the limits of reality. You will be able to ally with different characters and defeat the Neverending Night, finishing the story. All the content is gated as you progress through the story and different runs.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the price of our game for its full release alongside with the new features that will be launched.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’ve set up a Discord for the community to join us and share their experiences and feedback as the Early Access progresses. Moreover, we’re always looking at the workshop and Steam discussions to gather all opinions and points of view!”

Masks of the Void is a Rogue-lite action-RPG focused on build generation. Defeat the void before it consumes you. Prower is the key to succeed in this fast paced combat against time and chaos.

The first ever roguelite where the environment is your toolkit. Set up amazing combos placing your enemies in the right spot while using the power of telekinesis at your will! Every action you do has a consequence on how the world is shaped and what can be done.

Build up your way with endless combinations of Void Gifts, Cards, Shards, Documents & Masks! Every run becomes a new experience as you progress through the Void.

Void Gifts: Game changing effects that can make your build focus on different gameplay bits.
Documents: Passive stat improvements that will help you survive in the Void.
Cards: Additional skills to surprise your enemies with!
Shards: Pure chaos, as random behaviours can occur, from helping to cursing you.

Face the mask holders as you deepen into the Void on your way to the Neverending Night. Your skill is the key to success. Learn their patterns, discover their strategies, exploit their weaknesses. The deeper into the void you get, the harder it will become.

Improve all your documents and masks at the Boreal Island as you progress through runs within the Void. Evolve the Void Gifts as you use them! Grow stronger with every expedition into the Vortex. From minor to major upgrades, conquer the Void at your own pace!
