Pourquoi choisir l'accès anticipé ?

« This question is quite easy to answer. For me, the most important aspect of Early Access is the opportunity to build a community or at least, I hope so. A community that supports me with feedback or contributes ideas would be invaluable, as I am working on the game alone.

The decision to enter Early Access at this point is based on the fact that I have reached a stage where I had to or wanted to make a decision. I originally started this game as a hobby project. However, as the project progressed, my ambitions grew.

Now I am at a crossroads: Do I continue working on the game as a side project, or do I try to take it to the next level and work on it fulltime? »

Pendant combien de temps environ ce jeu sera-t-il en accès anticipé ?

« How long the game will remain in Early Access is a bit more difficult to answer.

Regardless of the fact that I am working on the game alone and that it is perhaps a very ambitious project, I estimate at least one year per act. However, this assumes that I can primarily focus on designing the acts, which is rather unlikely.

For example, there are still some mechanics I would like to implement. Additionally, creating skills many of which are still missing takes a significant amount of time. Not to mention the countless other tasks still on my todo list.

I will set up a timeline before or at the latest by the release, outlining the current state of development as well as upcoming content, to give a clearer picture of how I envision the future of the game. »

« How the full version will look or should look is not easy to answer.

Currently, you can discover secrets, solve puzzles, find rare legendary items, build a base, craft, and explore dungeons across an area of approximately 10 m² in the first act. I plan over the next few months, about 5 m² will be added to this act.

Without trying to sell you an apple tree, I Plan to add additional quests, story quests, more secrets, and new points of interest in the future. Additionally, I have planned five more acts that I will work on in the future for the full version.

But what else will be added by the time the game reaches version 1.0… who knows? »

Quel est l'état actuel de la version en accès anticipé ?

« Currently, only the first act exists in the Early Access version.

Around 10 m² of the area is explorable, while approximately 30% is still inaccessible but will be added in the near future until the first act is fully completed.

At the start of the game, there is a small questline designed to introduce you to the game mechanics. I plan to expand this further in the near future. You can build a base for crafting and storage, solve puzzles, uncover secrets, and find unique items.

Depending on how much time I can dedicate to development, I am also working on boss and quest mechanics alongside expanding Act 1. If everything goes well, these may even make it into the game by the Early Access release. »

Le prix du jeu sera-t-il différent pendant et après l'accès anticipé ?

« The current price will remain as it is for now, and in my opinion, it is affordable and fairly set. Once the game has a larger scope and is further developed, I will likely adjust the price slightly upwards. But until then, it will stay as it is. »

Comment comptez-vous impliquer la communauté dans le processus de développement ?

« Building a community for the game is very important to me.

That's why I will try to check in on Discord daily. However, I can't guarantee that I will be active there every day especially since I also have to work on a regulare job.

While I do have accounts on Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms, I believe that Discord or the Steam Community Hub will be the most realistic and manageable places for the game’s community.

Player feedback would already be a huge help, as testing every corner of the game myself is extremely time-consuming. As the saying goes: four eyes see more than two.
