Why Early Access?

“Since this game is released in chapters and completing all of them takes some time, Early Access allows players to play the chapters that have already been developed in advance. And that means two chapters first, two in the upcoming years. Four in total. I use early access because this is more acceptable for players to pay for the game and the payment will help me keep developing.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Around 4 years.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will include chapters that are not available in Early Access. There will be four chapters in total, whereas Early Access only consists of two chapters.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Right now, we have the first two chapters of the game, which are about 7 hours long gameplay of a horror puzzle game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, I decided to change the price when more content is presented. Hopefully around 22 RMB per chapter.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I planned to take feedback like puzzle difficulty, but I think I want to make a game more for my own. ”

About This Game

NARRENSCHIFF” (The Ship of Fools) is a horror puzzle-adventure game set in the 1980s,

featuring a blend of retro pixel art and hand-drawn pencil style.

The story takes place in a fictional Eastern European country.

You will play as Wayde Othman, a data entry clerk from the Bureau of Environment,

venturing into an almost deserted psychiatric hospital,

searching for your lost memories and uncovering the vast conspiracy brewing within.
