“The plan was to release in Early Access in August 2023 (haha!) and so anyway here we are in December 2023. It will stay in Early Access for 6 to 9 months. In addition to bugfixes and polishing existing assets and game loops, here are some potential ideas for the full version: new or radically improved game mechanics, different characters and abilities, Steam achievements, turn-based multiplayer, much improved music, improved animations, horse collisions enabled, other incoming enemies, chasing the runner.

“The player can play the game and run forward, move sidways, jump over obstacles and slide. The number of gems collected and the total distance travelled are displayed in the HUD. The lost art of multiplying in your head appears when a gem gets collected.

The run ends when the player is pushed backwards and falls off the road, or if the runner can't make it through a gate and gets stuck behind a building.

If you don't have enough cooling or a dedicated GPU, your computer might get warm and shut down automatically. Without a pair of cooling fans under my laptop, I get a blue screen of death after a few minutes of playing. With the fans it's fine.
