Descensus

왜 앞서 해보기를 진행하나요?

“We want to make a great game. Early Access is a way for us to receive valuable feedback that ensures the quality of the Descensus game is up to par.”

얼마나 오래 앞서 해보기를 진행할 계획인가요?

“First and foremost, it depends on players feedback. Our current goal is to have Descensus in Early Access for about a year, but we're flexible. We are currently working on completing single-player campaign with new biomes, characters, weapons, enemies... We are also focused on the cooperative mode development.”

정식 버전은 앞서 해보기 버전과 어떻게 달라지나요?

“The basic functionality of the game will remain pretty much the same. The main storyline campaign with more unique locations, new enemies, characters and weapons will be brought to an end. The main feature we want to add is cooperative mode. You would be able to play a single-player campaign with team up with up to 2 players in cooperative mode.”

앞서 해보기 버전은 현재 어떤 상태인가요?

“Core features of the game have been implemented. Currently, the game has 2 large exploration zones, a dozen dungeons and a secret zone in which the influence of the abyss is most present.”

앞서 해보기 기간 전후로 게임 가격이 달라지나요?

“No definitive plans here yet, but it is likely that the price will be increased over the course of the Early Access period.”

개발 과정에서 어떻게 커뮤니티와 소통할 계획인가요?

“Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to actively communicate with the community, but players are welcome to suggest new features and modifications in the "Suggestions" channel at our discord. We will carefully read all the players messages. it’s really important for us to learn players experience and suggestions for improving the Descensus game.”

Descensus is a souls-like action-RPG with challenging combat set in post-catastrophe diesel punk world. The player's goal is to reach the heart of the mysterious Rift of the Fallen Star – a grandiose tear in the world appeared as a result of a catastrophe and changed the world beyond recognition breaking laws of universe and converting the world around into an anomalous zone. It is necessary to stop the expansion and spread of the anomaly before it absorbs the whole world.

Choose from one of predefined classes but it up to you how to develop your character and build. Collect meteor spores that give extraordinary skills to your character, find new weapons and moprhosis, change yourself and your experience on the sole isle of normality in the perverted world – Seeker`s base.
Start your descent into the rift – the physical and metaphysical tear in the fabric of the world. Rise and fall until you reach the heart of the fallen Star.

Game features:

Perfect challenging combat system combining melee and ranged weapons
Beloved challenging soulslike combat in isometric view allowing for more control over the battleground. Master the combination of melee and ranged weapon to stand against the spawn of the Rift.
Become a legendary seeker
Choose between different weapons, collect items providing different opportunities in combat, create devices based on the Rift anomalies. Obtain morphosis – anomalous changes, which make your character even stronger.
Descent into the Rift of the Fallen star, mysterious zone full of anomalies
Explore the diverse biomes of the Rift, which in the past were part of the surface, and now have become the world of distorted reality. The deeper you descent, the more horrible and abnormal are the changes.
Rise and Fall
The death is not way out in the Rift. If your body can not continue the descent, be reborn next to the last meteorite you imprinted yourself. You can go to the place of death to regain the lost Ethereal energy. Remember that you have one chance. If you die again, it will dissipate.
