About This Game

Play as Greencap's ancestor in this prequel to the first Lone Fungus, set thousands of years before the first game. 

Just like the first game, Lone Fungus: Melody of Spores is a sprawling Metroidvania set in a mushroom world! This time perhaps our protagonist will be a bit less lonely...


Features 8-directional Castlevania-like combat with sub-weapons, but with a modern fast and fluid movement system!


Play as Greencaps ancestor, set in a world thousands of years before the first game, in a time where the various mushroom tribes are being destroyed and divided by a mythical creature known as the 'Spirit Beast'.

Fulfill the prophecy of becoming the 'Hiertan', a cultural leader which unites the various mushroom tribes in together defeating the 'Spirit Beast'.
