About This Game

Game Introduction



Chronicles of the Soulforged is an attempt to combine real-time fighting game with strategy deck building game. Player will control the Soulforged by using various of cards. Recovering the hazy memories of the Soulforged by defeating enemies, then rewind the time back to the point when those memories were formed, in pursuit of averting a catastrophic war.


Background Story



Years after the Battle of River City, a Soulforged Soldier awakens amidst the ruins of the city. Driven by persistent commands in its mind, the Soulforged launches attacks on the city in ruined, finding no enemies but the sadness. Composed by fragments of souls, this enigmatic entity begins recalling fragmented and unfamiliar memories as it roams in and around the city. With each memory's clarity, time appears to rewind to the moments when those memories were created. The quest is to uncover more memories, overcome the adversaries within these memories, and perhaps find a way to save the war-torn city.


Game Features



  • Real-time Combat: Player no longer need to take turns playing cards. Cards played will be queued and executed in order!
  • Time-stop System: In this strategy-based game, where real-time combat can be too swift for decision-making, players can utilize the time-pause function to extending thier decision time span.



  • The Blessing Cards, which form the foundation of any deck, providing exclusive and powerful passive effect, which enhance the effectiveness of specific cards. Equipping them, and build your deck around them, are vital for success.



  • Temple System: Enhance attributes of your Soulforged, Delete Cards or upgrade them, or even exchange them with other random cards.



  • Preferences: If you struggle to find a particular card, you can mark it in the card library, increasing its chances of appearing.
  • Legacy: After each success or failure attempt, players can retain some cards as their starting deck for the next run. At higher difficulty levels, card's upgrade levels can also be maintained.



  • The story evolves as the game's difficulty increases. Clear each difficulty level to save River City from impending war.
  • In-Game Character Challenges: Take on the enemy by using their card own deck to complete the game in a different fashion.
