« The current iteration of Cider remains under development and requires additional refinement prior to being fully optimized for the stable market. Given that this product is undergoing a comprehensive rewrite, certain features may be currently absent or unavailable. Our primary goal is to ensure the highest quality experience for both existing and prospective customers. Please understand that we are diligently working on improvements and enhancements to meet and exceed expectations. »

Combien de temps environ ce logiciel sera-t-il en Accès anticipé ?

« The estimated timeline for our next phase is approximately 2-3 months. However, this projection is subject to the progression of our development process and the resolution of a few persistent bugs. Our dedicated team is actively working to address these issues as efficiently as possible. »

En quoi la version finale sera-t-elle différente de la version en accès anticipé ?

« Moving forward, our aspiration is to include a range of cloud feature sets and integrations in the full version of the application. We aim to provide a complete EQ and a variety of audio visual settings and interfaces for interaction, but we want to clarify that these are our current objectives, and they may be subject to change. »

« Cider, in its current Early Access stage, is adequately prepared for public utilization and generally exhibits stability for general music use and contains all functions necessary to accommodate that. Nonetheless, we believe that additional time is required to fully refine and optimize certain features to ensure an excellent user experience. »

« We do not anticipate any alterations to the pricing structure upon transitioning out of the Early Access phase. »

« Our aim is to engage the community actively in our development process. We encourage open communication via our Discord channels and our GitHub bug tracker page. This collaborative approach will allow us to fine-tune the application, ensuring it caters not only to our preferences but also aligns with the broader interests and requirements of all users. »

Prepare for a fresh, reimagined experience with Cider – your favorite Apple Music client! We are now returning in Early Access with an upgrade that’s more robust, efficient, and dynamic than ever before.

Cider has undergone a complete overhaul, adopting a high-performance, custom backend solution powered by Rust. With this shift away from Electron, we aim to provide an optimally enhanced user experience throughout the app.

Do bear in mind that our update is in its Early Access stage, which means some features are still being polished and may present bugs or issues. Notably, minimizing the app may cause occasional crashes, and users with Intel HD graphics solutions may experience minor incompatibilities. We're committed to addressing these issues promptly, continuously improving Cider's performance and efficiency.

But the exciting news doesn't stop there. We're thrilled to announce that Cider is evolving into a multi-platform client. While currently dedicated to Apple Music, our vision is to integrate other platforms in the future.

Moreover, we've added Apple Music Sing support for all the karaoke enthusiasts out there. Sing your heart out and enjoy your favorite tracks in a whole new way! (Vocal Annunciation not yet available)
