Varför Early Access?

“We’re going Early Access to dial in the core systems where it really counts: performance, controls, combat, VR and open world mechanics. G-Rebels is all about high-speed dogfights and gritty immersion in a huge open world, and we want to make sure it feels just right on every PC and across every setup, from mouse and keyboard to full HOTAS rigs. Early Access gives us the perfect runway to tweak the experience with real player feedback before we go full throttle.”

“We expect to stay in Early Access for roughly six months. That gives us time to gather meaningful feedback, iterate on core systems like performance, controls, combat, and make sure everything, from dogfights to VR, feels tight and polished.”

“The Early Access version focuses on tweaking the core systems: dogfighting, controls, performance, VR, and open world mechanics. It includes a limited set of missions designed to test and refine these with community feedback. During the Early Access Phase we plan a complete campaign, opening up the game world, more open-world activities, deeper customization, refined visuals (including upgraded effects and particle systems for the weapon systems), polished support for HOTAS, TrackIR and other flight sim hardware, polished physics and movement.”

“The current Early Access version includes the core gameplay systems we’re actively tuning with the community:
● VR mode with cockpit view and full first person flight controls
● a varity of handcrafted missions designed to test combat, controls, and AI behavior
● Limited Open World Gameplay (bounty hunting, being chased by the police, introduction of non-linear mission givers, racing missions and a glimpse at the huge game world)
● Support for mouse/keyboard, gamepad
● Experimental support for advanced setups like HOTAS/HOSAS via raw input
● Customization and upgrade system
It’s a focused slice of the full experience, built to refine the fundamentals before we scale up.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“We plan to work closely with the community through the Steam forums and our official Discord. Feedback from players will directly shape improvements to controls, performance, AI behavior, and VR. We’ll be actively listening, discussing ideas, and pushing updates based on what the community tells us. This is a hands-on development phase, and we want players to be part of it every step of the way.”
