Miksi Early Access?

The game is an indie game that, while being a fully-fledged game, still has for sure many small bugs, despite several testers having each invested and enjoyed more than 10 hours of gameplay. The early access is intended to provide the game to a larger test group and systems at a reduced price, and we welcome feedback. The development budget has been limited so far, which is why the focus has been on gameplay, with purchased assets being used, and some animations still missing that would aesthetically enhance the game. The testing phase is also intended to determine which aesthetic improvements or features are important to players.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

The duration of the early access primarily depends on the number of players testing this game. If it can be ensured that the game works flawlessly on most systems and players are satisfied with the content, the early access status will be left behind. The goal at the moment is the end of 2023.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The full version should primarily be the most flawless version possible. In addition, we plan to revise the balancing, add new offerings for weapon upgrades and abilities to the mission shop, and we try to adapt game modes to the needs of the players. Depending on the players' wishes, if there is a budget available, we think of improving the game aesthetics. This all will depend on the success and feedback collected during the early access.

Zombiepede is a fully immersive gaming experience that provides more than 10 hours of gameplay and includes both cooperative missions and a versus mode. It supports 1-4 players in local multiplayer mode with controllers. Technical errors and balancing issues may occur.

Expectedly, the price will increase after the official release as the Early Access testers are unlikely to experience the game in its best form. We appreciate their feedback and engagement and want to offer a discount for their support.

In Zombiepede, you'll be sent on various missions alone or with your friends to destroy countless creatures so that the Earth can one day be inhabited by humans in peace again.

We used a proven fun game mechanic of the classic atari game Centipede and changed the setting from centipede and mushrooms to zombies and graves.
But there are more types of enemies like Ghouls, Goblins, Golems, Giders... ehm Spiders, Skeletons, Liches and many levels asking for different strategies.
Confront those creatures with different unlockable weapons like pistols, machine guns, sniper rifles, shotguns, grenade launchers, turrets, mines and a railgun or choose to pay soldiers and use tower defense mechanics to reach your goal.
and choose from over 100 offerings to upgrade your weapons or use special abilities.
Unlock new profiles for your hero to enable further playstyles and builds.
Each player can level up his hero individually and unlock different badges, weapons, skins, profiles and special achievements.
Each level has different phases: You must survive the early game and earn a bronze medal to be able to call your rescue ship. This way, you bring your medals and points home and unlock new levels. In the mid-game, you try to earn better medals to take even more points with you. If you overestimate yourself and don't get rescued, you lose your medals and 30% of your points. Alternatively, you can stay even longer (after earning gold) and face the late game to improve your high score and leaderboard entries and collect more achievements.
Fight against each other in versus mode if you want to get revenge on your friend for always stealing all the red goblins.
