„Its hard to tell how long the development will take before leaving early access. it's important for me to ensure that the game reaches a level of quality and content that satisfies both myself and the community. While I don't have an exact timeline at this stage, my current plan is to continue working on the game for an estimated period of around 2-3 years during the Early Access phase.”

A tervek szerint miben fog különbözni a teljes verzió a korai hozzáférésűtől?

„Since this game is a work in progress both on content as much as its overall roadmap, the final product seen in its entirety is yet also a bit of a mystery to myself, and is probably best described as being the "complete" version, which I plan to have a span of around 5-6 contracts incl. various playmodes. That is my goal, and that is what I will be working towards best I can!”

Milyen állapotban van jelenleg a korai hozzáférésű verzió?

„The current state features the core basics and beginning of the game. The "gunmans base", which includes various weapons to store, mod and customize, a set of gunrange highscore courses and a few demo areas including bullet penetration panels, ragdoll demonstration and enemy face off challenges.

Currently work in progress: the first Gunman contract, which is aimed to be included in the initial Early Access launch.”

Eltérően lesz árazva a játék a korai hozzáférés alatt és azt követően?

„The plan is to start the price low, since the game will feature very limited content in the begining, and increase the price from time to time to reflect its content.”

Hogyan tervezitek bevonni a közösséget a fejlesztés folyamatába?

„The Community has a special place in this project. Starting out as a mod for Half-Life: Alyx, getting feedback and inspiration from the community pushed me to expand my first Gunman Contracts mod with a second chapter, and ultimately to making this game.

Going forward, I intend do continue this process and deepen my ties with my customers, which is why I have created an official Discord-Server for players to join and contribute with feedback, bugreports, ideas and inspiration:

"Gunman Contracts – Stand Alone" is an intense, action-movie-inspired shooter playable in both VR and non-VR (First Person Shooter). As a highly trained professional hitman - known and feared as the Gunman - the player takes on ruthless forces in the criminal underworld, serving justice in places beyond the reach of the law … one contract at a time.

Development

With its origins in the popular Half-Life: Alyx mods "Gunman Contracts – Chapter 1 & Chapter 2", "Gunman Contracts – Stand Alone" takes the action to the next level with a completely new, from-the-ground-up developed single-player experience.

Early Access Notice

This game will launch as an Early Access title with a limited set of content (and most likely quite the list of bugs and quirks!). The game is designed to grow during its Early Access phase, receiving additional content as development progresses - such as new story contracts, challenges, weapons, etc.

Launch Package planned to Include

  • 2 fully voiced and narrated story contracts (missions)

  • Additional challenge modes for each contract (Takedown and Last Stand)

  • The Gunman’s base of operations incl. training courses and challenges:

    • pop up target station

    • pop up target course

    • pop up target circle

    • holographic combat training

  • Unlockable and customizable weapons: pistols, rifles, shotguns

  • Knives and a bow (bow not yet available in non-VR First Person mode)

  • Steam leaderboard integration for every contract and challenge

  • Custom music feature: drop your own music files into a folder and play them in-game via the Gunman’s smartphone

Modeld after gun blazing hollywood action thrillers, this game contains content not appropriate for all ages, and may not be appropriate for viewing at work, featuring frequent violence and general mature content.

Note: this game can also be played in a "low violence" mode, which disables nearly all blood effects and splatter, but still keeps the action intact.
