«We want to bring Trakonius to its maximum potential. For this, the feedback from the community is very important to us as we develop the game. That's why we want to share the game with Early Access after adding the basic mechanics, and then move Trakonius to a much better point with feedback.»

Om spillet

Trakonius is an action-roguelike combat game set in gladiator arenas. With the help of the gods, you can gain both permanent and temporary powers, spend the gold you earn from battles at the blacksmith, and fight using different weapons and skills throughout your journey. Each weapon has its own distinct combat style, and with upgrades, you can develop varied strategies. Every victory in the arena brings you one step closer to your freedom and the salvation of your people.

Combat Style

In Trakonius, you must remain constantly alert, as if you were truly fighting in the arena. Since you often battle multiple opponents, you can be attacked simultaneously by several enemies. Timely dodging and parrying can significantly change the course of the fight. Just like in a real battle, your split-second decisions are crucial, as enemies will be looking for your weak moments to strike. In this epic struggle that unfolds in the blink of an eye, your strategy, reflexes, and patience become your greatest weapons.

Character Progress

During your journey in the arena, you can develop yourself in various ways. By offering your blood to the gods and communing with the spirits of gladiators, you can gain numerous permanent upgrades. With the coins earned in battle, you can purchase armors with various benefits and weapons that possess unique abilities from the blacksmith. Moreover, fighting in the arena grants you experience, allows you to level up, and helps you acquire divine powers.

Story

In a legendary world where lands are ruled by god-kings, fate exiled Trakonius to the harsh arenas. Determined to forge his own path, Trakonius embarks on a journey carrying the burden of his past on his shoulders. With each step, this journey, which tests both his strength and strategy, heralds a quest for great justice and freedom.

Combat in an isometric style, similar to the isometric style, with an overhead view camera angle.
