Varför Early Access?

“I am a single developer that has a lot of experience playing games, but little making them. I would like feedback from the community as Frontera is being made. From improvements to features and UI to new suggestions, I will take a look at them all though make no guarantees of implementing them.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“I would like to get a feature complete 1.0 version out around the end of the first quarter of 2024.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“There are many tiers of material and building upgrades planned and associated ways to gather them. Randomization will be improved on the settlement map and implemented in the overworld map. A tech tree is planned to unlock these materials and upgrades to production. Unit needs/wants and skill levels for work will be planned. Combat is intended to be improved with different enemies and ways to influence battles other than stats.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“When comparing with the About This section:
Currently only the first tier of materials is available to use in building and production.
Units can build, produce, and shop but can not yet use bought items to provide more productivity. Unit needs/wants system is not currently implemented.
Can use money to buy more units but can not use for expansion or trade yet.
Unit draft and combat is implemented but planned to be improved still.
Two resource nodes are available and capturable.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“I would like to raise the price as the game is nearing completion.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“I would like to read community feedback and suggestions in the Steam discussions. I plan on reading everything but make no promises as to implementation.”
